Best "Chicken" substitute ever! May 3, 2009 Reviewer: Brian Dillard from Pomona, CA United States   I love the taste, texture, and everything about this except, the price. When it first came out at Whole Foods, it was $2.99, and often was on sale for $1.99. Then, all of a sudden, as most vegetarian products were going down in price due to there being more of a need for it, this went up, more than double to $6.99. Something I would buy in bulk, on a regular basis is now something I simply buy every few months as a treat... It's a shame, this is such a great product. Veganaise suffers from the same pricing structure; raising prices, makes it hard to justify... Was this review helpful to you?
